This is how it looks on one of the pillars of our showroom in Bilbao La Vieja.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

You already know that the bicycle is my life, but as they say, to live fully, one needs more than just wheels \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

Today I want to tell you something that goes beyond the world of bicycles, but is very much in line with who we are at Libertad Avenue. It’s the Decalogue of Women<\/i>, an initiative of an association that holds a special place in my heart. This Decalogue reflects the philosophy of many entrepreneurial women who, like us, seek to give their projects a profound and collaborative meaning. <\/span><\/p>\n

Emakumekin is a network of women entrepreneurs in the Basque Country, the region where I live. This association was founded a few years ago with a very clear purpose: to create a support network for female entrepreneurs, regardless of the size of their businesses. I believe it is businesswoman<\/i> that a business owner not be defined by the size of their business, but by the passion, effort, and vision with which they run it. At Emakumekin, any woman who runs a business on her own is considered an entrepreneur, from the smallest to the largest. That’s what makes this association so special! <\/span><\/p>\n

Every year, Emakumekin organizes an event called INNPower<\/b>, an inspirational journey that brings together women from around the world to share lessons, experiences, and, above all, possibilities. Each year, a city is chosen as the setting for the event, and leading women from those locations are invited. These women, like those from Milan, New Zealand, and other corners of the world, share their stories of struggle and success, offering a unique perspective from both the practical and the heart. <\/span><\/p>\n

En la \u00faltima edici\u00f3n, que se celebr\u00f3 en Mil\u00e1n, al final del evento nos regalaron un decalogue<\/i>, que se convirti\u00f3 en una especie de manual o gu\u00eda pr\u00e1ctica para emprendedoras. Este dec\u00e1logo no es solo una lista de consejos, sino una reflexi\u00f3n colectiva sobre c\u00f3mo debemos abordar el emprendimiento de manera colaborativa y sostenible. Es un recordatorio de que, aunque cada una de nosotras sigue su propio camino, es fundamental apoyarnos mutuamente. Y eso, para m\u00ed, est\u00e1 muy alineado con los valores de Libertad Avenue: la cooperaci\u00f3n, la comunidad y la sostenibilidad como motor de nuestros proyectos. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Decalogue was born from reflections among With women members, who discussed the most urgent issues that needed to be addressed and the most common problems we as entrepreneurs face. During the pandemic lockdown in 2020, Miren Lauzurica<\/b> and Izaskun Rama<\/b> (current president of the association) were responsible for shaping all these reflections, transforming them into what we now know as the Decalogue for Women<\/i>. It was a collaborative effort that united everyone’s experiences and lessons learned. <\/span><\/p>\n

Later, the graphic design of this Decalogue was carried out by Marina Go\u00f1i<\/a>, who managed to transform it into a visual piece that not only conveys a clear and profound message but is also aesthetically beautiful. The design makes each concept stand out clearly and directly, so that the message is easy to grasp at a glance. This visual touch not only makes it an excellent inspirational tool but also a decorative piece that brings positive energy and motivation to any space. <\/span><\/p>\n

What I like most about the design is how it manages to transform such profound content into something accessible and visually compelling. The most important concepts are organized in a way that you can immediately understand. There’s no need to read between the lines or get lost in long explanations; just look at it and feel its power. The Decalogue becomes a constant reminder of what it means to undertake with purpose, empathy, and collaboration. <\/span><\/p>\n

I have this decalogue on display in our showroom <\/a>because I believe it’s much more than a simple poster. It’s a symbol of what we stand for here at Libertad Avenue: the power of entrepreneurial women, the value of collaboration, and the importance of creating something that’s sustainable for both the business and the community.
